General Entry - 30.12.2010

So, start of the Summer Holidays for me, and I’ve loaded myself with tasks and events already?
Sorry for the lack of updates or posts as of late. It’s been Christmas and so my good employer has been giving me lots of time at work, I still haven’t cleaned-up my room, not much Anime watching sadly, and generally unproductive in terms of productivity? (Except for work that is…)

:: Generally
I’ve been working on getting another (yes, another) site layout done… There’s a lot to do, and I seriously don’t think I can get it up and running by the start of the New Year, but we shall see how that goes… I’ve been going out to the City quite a bit these holdiays so far, some by myself, some with friends… Never actually ended up buying anything substantial…
I’ve seen Tron. -twas alright.

Other than that, my Christmas was pretty mediocre. (My family doesn’t really do Christmas =P)
Will be hanging out with some of my friends on NYE. Nothing wild. Just a hopefully tame movie marathon thingy.

:: Technology
I got my Bamboo! =D
Dell Venue Pro‘s are out in the wild! Now where’s mine?
My mobile telco, Vodafone’s getting it’s guts sewed…? Okay, well… customers, (including me) haven’t been very happy with their service recently… I’d say it has to do with a sudden increase in traffic due to their buyout of 3 and their new “infinite” plans… And so now people are suing them…

My Thoughts - Oreno Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai

kira My Thoughts Oreno Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai

“Oreno Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai”, or OreImo for short, has been well received by otaku and anime enthusiasts alike, and is by far, “the best series of this season”, with many claiming “best of the year”. (at least an ongoing poll says 10% of DannyChoo’s readers believe it to be better than K-on! and Index) If you’ve already read Leon’s blog about his thoughts on the series, then you’ll know that he highly enjoyed it, and he might even agree with the previous two statements. I am no different. (Stole a few images from you Leon, hope you don’t mind?)

As the series finishes it’s “good end”, and we wait for the alternate ending, OreImo has been an incredibly well put together anime, and I have loved almost every minute of it.

Phase One of 2010 Clean-up - My Room

To think it’s the end of the year already… School’s out for 6 weeks, which you’d imagine to be plenty of time to get side projects that are otherwise interrupted by school completed but… not really…

 Phase One of 2010 Clean up My Room

Anyway, so just a quick post about my “Operation Clean-up” for the end of 2010 in preparation for 2011. There are a few other clean-up operations I need to do, which include clearing-up my limited hard-drive space, and getting much of this website cleaned up… But that’ll be done later. =P

 Daily Life – 07.11 – 04.12.2010

November was an unusually dry month… and by dry, I mean, lacking interesting content rather than unseasonal… In fact, we’ve actually had quite a bit of rain… But yeah, so this goanna water dragon payed a visit to our school earlier in November…
